  • Not to sound like a crybaby, but three-day weekends really don't feel
much longer than 2-day weekends.  Probably because I've gotten
used to working four, 10-hour days.

The Kennedy Center in D.C. is hosting a lot of Chinese cultural events
this month; supposedly it is the largest Chinese cultural display in
the US, according to the Washington Post.

There's an open-air market place, but it was really small.  I
thought there would be more than 5 booths, but oh well.  There was
nothing interesting either -- no food, only expensive antique items.

The most interesting thing today was the martial arts
demonstration.  There was tai chi (boring, in my opinion) and
wushu.  The wushu was really cool.  The little kids were
amazing, doing arials and butteryfly kicks.  I was so motivated to
go out there and do a 540!

  • u had a 3-day weekend?

  • Dude I freaking work 9 hours on average for 5 days, I'd work 10 4 any day....just to have 3 day weekends. BTW long time no see, sorry, my Mac at work doesn't let me add comments with out crashing my IE. :P I should use safari. But doing comments from home feels a whole lot different, but better.

  • yeah my work does force the OT since the project must be done by due date :P I don't know if people would die if they didn't get completed, but they sure act like peoples lives are at stake though :P
