  • edit: I do
watch the subbed versions -- I just can't wait for it to come out here,
so we can have the extras that come along with it, such as t-shirts,
    videogames, etc.

Naruto was ranked #1 on Stuff Magazine's Hit list!

I can't wait for it to come to the States, but I have a feeling it's
going to be so Americanized that I'll lose interest in it, just like
when DBZ came out here.  At least we'll have cool video games
    without having to import.

  • They're actually supposed to keep a lot of the same stuff in, like I hear that the jutsu names are going to remain in tact! And I hope they stick to the original...because hearing Naruto say, "Art of Doppleganger!" or Ino saying, "Valetine effect!" will be horrible. The only thing that they're really going to edit out is all the gushing blood stuff, except for when Naruto stabs himself with his kunai around episode 7 or 8 or something like that xD And Sasuke won't have needles in his neck when they face Haku...

One thing I'm worried about is that the voice actor who played Brock in Pokemon is going to be Gaara's voice actor! o_O; I don't know how that'll work...

  • who cares about it being in the US. It'll be horribly dubbed. Get the jap version now! hehe.

  • Why wait for the US versions, get all the japanese versions subbed!!! That's the ONLY way you should be watching anime.

  • ryc: thank you for welcoming me to MD, lol, i've been visiting here at least twice a year for a week or so for the past 9 years, visiting my gf before she moved to NY 6 years ago, and now just her family for the past 6 years. I feel like a native of MD, VA since i've been here so much already.
