It's hopeless..........I can't even figure out how to tie a tie!
I've searched online and every site seems to have the same exact
instructions on how to tie a windsor knot. It gets confusing
around step 3 or 4, depending on how the site labeled their
instructions. What did I do before? I just made my own
knot, which a family friend showed me. I don't know the name of
it, but it seems to be the four-in-hand knot, based on the research I
did.
Maybe I should resort to clip-on ties.

hehe, everybody does it a bit differently. i'd show you how i do it if i had a video cam. but if you get a good tie knot, good size, right length, not too puffy, then when you take it off, just loosen it enough for it to get over your head. that way, you can just slip it back on when you need it again... that's what i do. and when it starts to come apart through normal use, then you'll have to redo it.
hmmm maybe joanne can tie it for you
it's pretty easy..you flip one side over to the next...go under the loop towards your face, ...then go under the loop you just made...
there are two ways to tie a tie.. the simple way and the complicated way.. the complicated way looks much nicer.. but the simple way suffices too.. practice with the simple way.. which is 3 loops, and under... my dad knows how to do the complicated one.
wanna know what I do? I tie it once so that it's perfect, then I just leave it tied (i.e. I just pull it out just enough so I can get out my head) and when I need to use it again, I just slip it around my neck and tighten it up again. I haven't had to tie a tie in years!
It's not so bad...get Joanne to help!
When my brother needed help tying a tie, I looked online - not too bad for the helper. Aha, the rusty origami skillz come in handy!
ewww...no...no clip ons. hahaha. it's not too hard. i think maxim had a really good pictoral a couple years ago.
Sorry baby, I can't help. I don't know how to tie a tie
